After almost two months of beta testing, I finally got the production access to publish my app “Panzoto” on the Android Play Store!

I have many dreams and hopes for what it can do. But for now, it’s an audio recording tool that give you: 1) meeting transcripts, 2) summarization and categorization of notes into business or personal section, and 3) help you make decisions based on the past recordings of how you made those decisions.
I have originally designed it for my personal use. Because I often forget to mention appointments and meetings with my family. I want to make that effortless for them. And also in the future where I may get Alzheimer’s and cannot remember things anymore.
I also have grander hopes. Like using this app as a mind sharing tool. Like the aliens mentioned in “The Three-Body Problem”, who naturally share thoughts instantly. I wanted to get closer to that because I feel sharing all info could improve human species as a whole. I think we could evolve faster if we share thoughts all the time. Because I have always gained so much each time I talked to people. But people and machines (GPT, Claude) have talked me down about the idea. It’s neither practical nor have a big market. So it’s just a hope for now.
I also wanted to use decision making profile to mimic a person’s intelligence. Also knowing that previous research have shown that just because people make the same decision, doesn’t mean their intelligence is the same, or they have the same thought process. However, I do believe in large numbers. As in if people make the same decision the same way consistently, they must know something that others don’t. So enough of those decisions would make it easy to identify them individually. And I have seen that some people make the “right” decisions consistently. But it’s just not easy to quantify why they make those decisions.
Coming back to the app. If you have tried the app and have any question, comment, or suggestions, please email to me at [email protected]. I would love to talk about it and see how I can make it better. I have just recently read the book, “Finite and Infinite Games”. And this is definitely an infinite game for me. I will keep building on to this app regardless whether it makes a profit.
Finally, I want to take this opportunity to thank the beta testers. Without them I wouldn’t be able to make to the production phase on Play Store. And in particular, I want to thank Ziar Trlapztrlapz, who have given me the most useful feedback throughout the process. And keep helping me improve the app. Also, the Discord Server “IndieTest Club”, that help me find so many fellow beta testers. Thank you!
